burritt magic hours meal December 8, 2008

For those of you in the Huntsville area- Have you ever gone to the Burritt Museum on the Mountain for the Magic Hours Meal? (burrittonthemountain.com) It sounds so interesting, but it costs a lot of money and may not be worth it. Can anyone provide some feedback about it? Eric and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary on December 19th and I was looking for really special things to do. Thanks for your input!

If you’re talking about the Christmas dinners, they’re wonderful. You dine either in the mansion or the cabins (menu and prices different for each venue). They’re served by museum volunteers, and all the walkways are lit by candlelight and everything is decorated for the holidays. A friend of mine treated all of her girlfriends two years ago and it was just great.
