Beach vacation June 7, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — zellner @ 12:14 am

We just got back from a great vacation at the beach.  It was beautiful all week and we had so much fun.  We swam all day every day.

Lucy loved the water- I could not believe how willing she was to stay in the ocean, keep on her floaties, and jump in the pool.  These were all battles I thought we would be fighting and I was so surprised that it went so well.

The beach was beautiful.  I am so thankful that we were able to be there this week before anything hits the beaches. I cannot imagine what it may end up looking like after the oil hits it.  It is terribly sad and we tried to enjoy every day of what we were blessed to have.

We celebrated Lucy’s 2nd birthday at Red Robin at Pier Park.  She did great and we are feeling better and better about going out to eat with all of them 🙂  They slept better this year than in the past~ other than still being early risers 😦  Every year Eric and I say,”Next year they will be older and it will be so much easier.”  This year we actually felt like it had gotten a little easier! We have so much to be thankful for!

Looks like you all had a great time. I am glad that the sand and water was still clean and fun for all.

What a thrill to see these pictures and know you had such a great time. Want to go quick before the oil hits. There is air at the condo and not to be here for 3 more weeks.
