My camera will not download pictures to my computer all of a sudden. Sadness…
Cord had to have two staples put in the back of his head due to a small car accident (kid’s motorized car, that is).
Olivia has a hairline fracture in her left upper arm due to a fall off of a zipline on Sunday night. She is wearing a sling and we have another doctor’s appt some time this week to get it checked by an ortho.
Really each one could be soooo much worse. Each child is just fine. Life is moving on as usual. You just never know when things are going to happen, do you?
Eric has been preaching through different types of Psalms on Sunday evening- and this past Sunday, he preached Psalm 112. This psalm highlights that those who fear the Lord, who love the Lord, are in awe of the Lord- will never be moved! Verse 7 says the believer,”is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid.” This week’s brokenness in my world is not a big deal. But I know there are many of you who are walking through very big deals- very frightening seasons of life- waiting for very difficult answers. This verse is true. All the time. No matter what.
Don’t we all fear we won’t be unshakeable in difficult circumstances? Don’t we worry we will be tossed to and fro? God’s promise to us is that because we hope in Him- And He is Unshakeable- we will not be moved. Praying this for several of you this week.
