We headed back to school today. It was a half day, so there wasn’t alot of pressure 🙂 We made our annual pictures on the front porch…

We have great teachers. I loved walking in today with my girls and know that my children are being prayed for, are being shaped, and are being taught by ladies who love the Lord and who have been doing this for a long time. We dropped off tons of school supplies and took pictures with each of our teachers.
How cute are these ladies?
We picked the girls up and headed to eat lunch at the mall. As soon as the girls got in the van, they were busy telling us all about their class, their requirements, their awesome planners, their tables that they sit at- both at the same time. I had to make them alternate so that I can hear it all. At the mall, everyone chose what they wanted to eat and we were able to finish a little back to school shopping. 5 out of 6 picked Chick Fil A- big surprise 🙂
I learned a new fact! Both the girls wear a kid’s size 4. I headed to Dillard’s (which I found out was going out of business!) and found nothing. We head to another shoe store and really can’t find anything there either. I happen to walk through the ladies shoes and see a cute pair. The smallest size is a 6. Olivia tries it on and it fits. Confusing!
The lady tells me that a kid’s 4 is similar to a lady’s size 5.5, depending on the shoe. This opened up so many options. We found a pair for each. They are a little big, but will be perfect in a couple of months. Shopping in ladies shoes- how strange!
We have a full day tomorrow. Planners are signed, backpacks are ready, snacks are packed- all is right in the world 🙂
