Eric and Susan Zellner live in Huntsville, AL. Eric is Associate Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Susan is a stay-at-home mom with 4 children. They love spending time with family and friends, being outside, traveling, and sleeping!
Hi there! Well, I don’t know how I missed this before, but I think it’s pretty cool that we are both at Westminster Pres.!! When I saw it on your blog roll, I thought I would “click” on it and pull up a picture and there we’d be- Ha! Not really. I just read all your blogs and was so touched by a refreshing wind of God’s goodness. I think that lately several very harassing trials have gotten my joy and praise out of kilter. I sit down to write an e-mail or a letter and my “pen” is dead because I don’t want to say anything about what is going on in our lives. There is so much good that God is doing and I see it everyday, but some of this real life muck and yuck just stays in front of my eyes (and heart.) Thank you for reminding me through your words that even in the midst of whatever is going on, there are edifying words to say. Praise the Lord for His work in your life. Love ya, Lani
Well- if it was edifying in some way- praise the Lord for His goodness. I know of those seasons in life and love that what God is doing elsewhere can remind us about what He is doing in our situations too. As you know- Eric and I have always been so encouraged by your family, your ministry, your home…may your discouragement be dissolved and the joy renewed in the most real way to you. We used our quilt this weekend in Chattanooga and thought of your family again- just one way you have ministered to us by being just who you are- hugs, susan
Hey there! This was fun – I’ve never seen it – so I’ll link it (and the James) to mine when I get home…
Hey, no one told me this existed!!
Just wanted to say hello and congratulations. I had lost this website address and thought to Google it today. I think it was really God’s idea since you just had a baby and I didn’t know! I hope all is well with your family! They are beautiful! Can’t wait to see Lucy!
Keep me updated!
I’m so glad that I found this. It is so great to keep up with what is going on with the zellners. Sounds like all is well, hope that Lucy is finding her own voice.
I am writing to give you a resource book that I hope will be helpful to and anyone you may know who is a Pastor’s Wife.
I has just been released entitled: “Help God! I’m A Pastor’s Wife.” Bookstores can order it on ipage.com or ingrambooks.com.
Anyone else may order it at:
I trust it will be a source of encouragement to all who read it.
Sincerely, Karyl Gaehring
I loved reading your recent blog entries. How neat to get a peak into your busy but wonderful world with kiddos. I didn’t realize your oldest daughter, Olivia, was born the same year as my oldest child, Jonathan (my near Valentine’s baby :-). Olivia looks tall–I thought she was maybe 9 or 10. Blessings to you and your precious family!
